Methods, approach and vision

My professional approach might be described as somewhere between coaching and therapy, depending on your needs, possibilities and what is most useful at present. We will work together to give you insights, tools and skills that you can use the rest of your life.

My practice is  solution-and goal-oriented. The present and future are the focus of treatment. If experiences from the past prevent progress, we will give them the attention needed to be able to move forward again.

Usually the biggest positive changes are made within 10 sessions. This is about how long most treatments take .

We will look for what is really important to you and how to take constructive action towards your values and goals.  Equally important is to find ways to deal with painful emotions and thoughts that inevitably belong to life. By opening up to them without resistance, fear or avoidance  you can simultaneously focus and act on how you want your life to go forward.

Between sessions you can apply new insights and skills in your daily life.
